United Kites is a young menswear brand out of Kerala, built on a simple belief — what you wear should help you stand out, feel comfortable, and move through the day with confidence. Here's how that became a shop, three stores, and a tagline we live by.
The store · Calicut
We were tired of the same plain shirts on every rack in town. So we went looking for prints with character — abstract brushstrokes, leaf motifs, ajrakh-inspired blocks, checks you'd actually remember. The kind of shirt that gets a "where'd you get that?" before you've finished your chai.
That became the whole point of United Kites: bold, characterful menswear that most shops are too cautious to stock. Comfortable cotton, honest prices, prints that fly.
The kite is in our name — and a kite only does its job when it's let loose. That's the feeling we want our clothes to give: no limits, no boundaries, just confidence to be a little louder than the room expects.
"Fly Free" isn't a slogan we added later. It's stitched into the logo, printed on the bag, and the first thing you read when you walk in. Quality, comfort, confidence — in that order, every time.

What began as an exclusive store in Calicut grew into Edappal, then Bangalore — and onto leading outlets across Kerala. The online shop, shop.unitedkites.in, took the whole range nationwide, with free shipping and every payment method you already use.
Wherever you meet us — Mavoor Road, HiLITE Mall, the Edappal high street, or your phone screen — the prints, the fits and the prices are the same.
Kerala heat doesn't forgive stiff fabric. So we build around breathable cottons, fits that move, and finishes that survive the wash. A bold shirt that's uncomfortable is just a costume — and we're not in the costume business.
That's the standard for every piece, from the ₹899 half-sleeve to the formal trouser: it has to look sharp and feel like nothing.
We're a young brand, and we like it that way. New arrivals land often, the prints keep getting bolder, and the plan is simple: be the shop men in Kerala — and beyond — keep coming back to when they want to actually be seen.
If that sounds like your kind of wardrobe, the stores are open and the shop never closes.
Wear it like you mean it.— United Kites · Fly Free
